Janet Benton named Chief Operating Officer to lead strategic growth, Chris Bailey named Chief Development Officer to lead partnership and service expansion
Golden Valley, MN (November 9th, 2021) Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO) has elevated two leaders to chief officer roles, signaling the independent orthopedic practice’s commitment to continued growth and expansion in the Twin Cities and surrounding region. Janet Benton, JD, MHA has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chris Bailey, PT, DPT, OCS has been named Chief Development Officer (CDO), effective immediately.
“Janet and Chris have both been instrumental in helping TCO become a household name,” said Aaron Johnson, TCO Chief Executive Officer. “It is a natural fit for them to step into roles designed to shape the future of our practice. It’s no secret we plan to keep growing, and this framework will help us scale appropriately. Congratulations to them both for well-deserved promotions.”
Benton, formerly Vice President of Clinic Services, will oversee the practice’s growth strategy, focusing on clinic operations and elevating the patient experience. Over the past six months, TCO has opened a state-of-the-art facility in Stillwater, broken ground on a new clinic in Brooklyn Park, and begun seeing patients in Staples, MN and Winona, MN in partnership with Lakewood Health System and Winona Health, respectively.
“It’s an honor to serve this organization in an even greater capacity,” said Benton. “99% of our patients would recommend TCO to family and friends, and that’s because of the amazing individuals who work here. From the operating room to the front desk, everyone is dedicated to truly making a difference in people’s lives. I’m excited to help expand TCO’s reach and make an even bigger impact in our communities.”
Bailey, formerly Vice President of Therapy and Sports Medicine, will lead strategic partnership development and service expansion, focusing on clinical innovation. He was instrumental in shaping the Vikings/TCO partnership in Eagan, MN at TCO Performance Center, launching the Training HAUS sports performance brand, and introducing a Pelvic Health Therapy program in collaboration with fellow leaders inside of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health).
“Simply put, innovation is in our blood,” said Bailey. “We have some of the greatest minds in orthopedics, working together to find new ways to improve outcomes and give our patients the best experience possible. I’m grateful for the opportunity to fuel this innovation, and find strategic partners who share our passion for excellence.”
