Giardino brings a history of strong leadership and over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry
Saint Cloud, Minn. – Microbiologics, Inc. is pleased to announce that Raffaella Giardino, Ph.D., has been appointed as the company’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Dr. Giardino will lead strategy development and oversee execution for Microbiologics’ global sales, business development and marketing teams. Microbiologics is a global leader in the production, preservation and manipulation of biological materials with distribution in over 150 countries. They offer test-ready microbial controls, molecular diagnostic controls, virus production, purification and assay services, as well as antimicrobial R&D and consulting services.

Dr. Giardino joined Microbiologics in 2018 as the Executive Director, International Sales. Previously, she was the Global Marketing & Strategy Executive Director, Culture Media and Blood Culture, at bioMérieux. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Food Science and Technology, a doctorate in Microbiology from Università degli Studi di Milano, and earned her Executive MBA from EM Lyon Business School. Her career includes executive-level roles in R&D, sales and marketing at National Research Council (CNRS), FOSS A/S, and the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense.
