The awards recognize companies that have produced innovative new products or products that have made significant changes. The final winners will be announced shortly after the EMS World Expo 2019, October 14-18 in New Orleans.
The Pressure Extension Set, made exclusively by Biomedix in the U.S., is specially designed to tolerate the high pressure that accompanies power injection. The pressure set, used by First Responders and other medical emergency personnel, eliminates the risk of leaks and ruptures that can happen when using a non-pressurized extension set. The neutral, needleless PRN helps to guard against bacterial infections and prevention of accidental needle stick injuries during critical, emergency situations.
