American Heart Association – Go Red for Women – STEM Goes Red™️ (May 28, 2024)
Unfortunately, a troubling equity gap exists in STEM, from the lack of young women pursuing STEM related degrees to the low number of people of color in STEM careers. Opportunities are lacking for too many bright young minds of diverse backgrounds. STEM Goes Red hopes to help close these gaps with the leadership of Cindy Grabowski, President of CBG Consulting, LLC and 2024 STEM Chair.
Cindy is a passionate advocate for helping close the gender gap and she has been tireless in ensuring that women’s voices, bodies, and bank accounts are on equal footing to men. Cindy has held a long career in the medical device field and President of CBG Consulting, LLC. She is excited to be in the 2024 STEM Goes Red Chair this fall.
Our 2024 STEM Goes Red experience will allow high school students to explore STEM careers outside of the classroom. We cannot wait to bring students together from across the state to learn about careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
