EDINA, MN, October 8, 2020 – Adding a highly qualified embedded software engineer with a strong leadership component to its growing U.S. office, Garz & Fricke Inc. today announced the appointment of James Hoagland as its Senior Solutions Engineer. In his new role, Hoagland is responsible for crafting customized, state-of-the art engineering solutions for the company’s clients. Garz & Fricke enjoys a superb global reputation for successfully tackling comprehensive design challenges through the deployment of innovative hardware and software products.
An experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a heavy emphasis on embedded Linux, Mr. Hoagland previously worked for John Deere Electronic Solutions where he developed next-generation telematic gateways and touch screen displays. He is well versed in hardware/software integration and is fluent in Scrum software development and Yocto Linux Board Support Package (BSP) implementation. As a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Hoagland currently serves as the Cyber Protection Team Crew Lead, bringing a wealth of understanding regarding online risk assessment and security.
