Ecolab unit boosts sanitizer production tenfold to battle COVID-19

“Roman Blahoski, global communications director for Ecolab, said that production at the company’s North Carolina-based Kay unit has ‘ramped up production at both facilities and are now running 24/7. We have shipped out record levels of these critical products in recent weeks.’”

“Some products are being churned out at 10 times regular volume, Blahoski said. Temporary employees have been added to help meet the increased capacity.”

“Ecolab, much like everyone else, has implemented new safety guidelines in its manufacturing plants to minimize the risk of infection to employees.”
