Mental Health Awareness Month 2023

While mental health matters year-round, we would like to shine a light on Mental Health Awareness Month in May. This is an important month to spread awareness and knowledge about mental health, end misperceptions and stigma, and provide resources that may help you moving forward.

We would also like to thank our many wonderful partners who are doing great work in this space. See below our podcast episodes on sleep and mental health with CARE Counseling, the Minnesota Vikings and mental health, Medibio’s efforts to advance objectivity in mental healthcare, treating nightmare disorder with NightWare, and a conversation with GrandPad on their technology for improving older adults’ quality of life.

You will also find a webinar replay on obesity's impact on mental health with the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, our new member spotlight with CARE Counseling, and a recap of last year's Mental Health Awareness Day at the Minnesota State Fair.

To learn more about mental health and access important resources for yourself or your business, please see more information from the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) here and Mental Health America here.

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org. You can also reach Crisis Text Line by texting MHA to 741741.
