Join us on September 26, 2023 for our fall Equity in the Alley event, featuring Kate Stewart, VP and GM, ENT, Stryker.
We host this event series each year featuring leaders who identify as women and represent health systems, startups, public policy groups, Fortune 500 companies, and more. We created Equity in the Alley to celebrate the women who are leading health and wellness transformation—advancing our industry, technologies, and equity around the globe.
To start the event, you will have an hour of networking time over fresh coffee and tea. As we sit down for a plated breakfast, special guest speaker Kate Stewart will share her journey to leadership, inspire innovation, and energize you to pursue your passions and ideas to transform healthcare. There will also be time for a Q&A with Kate at the end of the event.
Speaker
Kate Stewart, Vice President and General Manager, ENT, Stryker
Kate began her career as a physiotherapist in Sydney, Australia. She then joined Stryker in 2006 as a sales representative for the Craniomaxillofacial Division in Australia. Over the course of her sixteen-year career at Stryker, she has held various sales and marketing leadership positions across the globe with increasing scope and complexity, including in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America. Her intense customer focus, commitment to building talented teams and passion for innovation has made a significant impact during her tenure at Stryker. Kate is currently the Vice President and General Manager of Stryker’s ENT Business Unit based in Plymouth, MN.
Kate is a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion and recently served as the President of Stryker’s Women’s Network, an employee resource group with 8600+ members globally, committed to the advancement of women at Stryker. Kate is also a member of the Board of Advisors for SFSU’s Customer Experience Program.
