On October 2nd, the Medical Alley Association brought together member companies Atricure, Boston Scientific, Smiths Medical, and Spinethera with members of the state legislature for a roundtable discussion on non-opioid alternatives for pain management.
The roundtable was hosted by Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka, and gave the legislators a chance to see a variety of pain management solutions being developed and produced here in Minnesota. The meeting was designed to lay groundwork for futher collaboration between industry and government on the issue recently designated by President Trump as a national public health emergency.
