Medical Alley, Minn. (11/14/2025) — Medical Alley is proud to represent Minnesota’s health innovation and care industry on the State of Minnesota’s trade mission to Switzerland and Germany, led by Governor Tim Walz.
Medical Alley President and CEO Roberta Antoine Dressen will join Governor Walz, Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Commissioner Matt Varilek, and a delegation of Minnesota business leaders to expand international partnerships and export opportunities, and to showcase Minnesota as a hub for healthcare innovation, investment, and impact.
“Switzerland and Germany are home to some of the world’s most forward-thinking health and life sciences companies in the world,” Dressen said. “For decades, Medical Alley has helped global innovators accelerate growth and bring life-changing technologies to patients faster. We’re honored to join Governor Walz and the state’s trade delegation to deepen these partnerships and drive economic growth that benefits communities across Minnesota.”
The delegation will begin in Zürich, highlighted by a visit with long-standing Medical Alley Partner Ecolab at the company’s European headquarters. The mission will then continue to Düsseldorf, where Medical Alley will participate as an exhibitor at MEDICA 2025, one of the world’s largest medical technology trade fairs, before concluding in Berlin.
During the mission, Medical Alley will spotlight its Global Market Access Program, which helps international startups and growth-stage companies establish a foothold in the U.S. healthcare market. Developed through Medical Alley Starts, the program offers tailored education, investor engagement, and commercialization support to guide companies through U.S. regulatory, reimbursement, and go-to-market processes.
