Rebates and Tracings Supervisors


Provides accurate and timely processing and validation of distributor sales tracings and rebate claims. Supervises/Assists/Mentors Rebates Clerks and serves as lead for the Rebates team
•Trains/Mentors new Rebates Clerks
•Performs more difficult transactions and resolves discrepancies
•Prepares Ad Hoc reports for Contracts and Sales Compensation departments
•Process distributor tracings and rebate claims via EDI 867 or manual data entry
•Format/Manipulate Excel spreadsheets for more efficient entry of data or to manipulate to an EDI 867
•Compare tracing and rebate files for a given distributor to ensure transactions are not duplicated
•Validate rebate submissions and prepare electronic or paper discrepancy reports in an acceptable format for the distributor
•Verify rebate credit memo amounts and apply rebate credits to rebate debits
•Map distributor internal data to Smiths data•Maintain customer database for indirect end users; add new accounts or new ship-to/sold-to sites
•Maintain customer database for indirect end users; add new accounts or new ship-to/sold-to sites
•Coordinate with the Contracts department to ensure that contracts have been properly set up and distributors have been notified of any adds, changes or deletions to contracts
•Contact distributors that have not submitted tracings or rebates prior to month-end
•Follow up on open dispute balances
•Prepare and lead department meetings
