POSITION SUMMARY:

The Product Marketing Manager – Open Concomitant will be responsible for upstream and downstream support of AtriCure’s largest product portfolio. This role must be able to work on cross-functional teams in support of current and new products and in support of new clinical programs to expand the portfolio. This role will also interface with the sales and commercial teams to develop and launch materials/programs to drive awareness and routine adoption of the therapy. This includes Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Quality Systems, and Regulatory.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

•Contribute to overall Open Concomitant franchise strategy roadmap and implement business plans to grow the product line.

•Work closely with Research and Development to manage assigned products.

•Implement qualitative and quantitative voice-of-customer input for product and pipeline development.

•Monitor competitive landscape to enable the franchise to develop better informed strategies, input into product pipeline, and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders.

•Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to assist with voice-of-customer activities and deliver needs assessment for future product development activity.

•Educate, advise, formally present to, and interact with customers in support of business goals/objectives.

•Propose positioning, messaging, and market segmentation strategies for advertising, physician education programs, tradeshows, and podium strategy.

•Align with field team to refine and implement marketing strategies and programs.

•Identify opportunities to present emerging data related to the therapy at major medical conferences.

•Work with all departments to execute effective product launches and ongoing support to achieve sales performance goals.

•Support Sales Training in onboarding of new reps and in launch training for new products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, biomedical engineering, or a related field.

•Minimum of three (3) years successful sales/marketing or related experience.

•Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, such as engineering teams.

•Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers.

•Analytical and strategic, effective technical writer, and strong moderator/presenter.

•Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to travel 20-35% domestic and internationally.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•MBA or advanced degree.

•Medical device experience, especially cardiac surgery or cardiovascular.

•Clinical experience in acute or outpatient setting.

•Experience with international organizations and customers.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

•Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required.

•Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull.

•Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
