Sr. Manager, Global Supply Chain

Provide overall leadership to the global supply chain organization. Management of planning, procurement, sourcing and logistics functions for production and new product development. Manage global contract manufacturers and finished products logistics to global direct customers as well as worldwide distribution centers and affiliates. Ensure overall supply chain stability and predictability.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the resources required for planning, procurement, sourcing and logistics to support global business needs. Assess, lead, manage and improve:

- Supply chain performance

- Global sourcing program for Medical Devices

- Supply chain ability to support the development and global launch of new products

- Supplier / contract manufacturer selection and qualification

- Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) process

- Procurement of all components, consumables, materials and final products

- Material availability, stability and predictability

- Key Performance Indicators

- Blockchain & Ecommerce

- Risk identification and mitigation

- Supplier / contract manufacturer relations

- Supplier / contract manufacturer agreements, blanket orders and contracts

- Global supply chain logistics, balance global inventory through warehousing, distribution and affiliates (finished goods, consumables, service parts, loaners and demo equipment)

- Value propositions

- Lead team, develop talent, mentor and manage performance.

- Create positive working environment.

- Succession planning.

- Provide project plans, actions and execution.

- Define and manage department budgets.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

- BS/BA degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering.

- 10+ years progressively responsible experience in related supply chain management disciplines of planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supply chain management role.

- Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferable medical with global manufacturing.

- Experience with low volume/high mix manufacturing.

- Demonstrated knowledge, ability and improvements in the following areas:

- Developing and implementing a global supply chain strategy

- Supplier leadership, management and relationships

- Supplier selection and development

- Supplier risk identification, mitigations, contracts and agreements

- Global logistics utilizing warehousing, distribution and affiliates

- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

- Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) process

- Establishing stability and predictability

- Communicating, influencing and negotiating

- Producing accurate and timely reporting

- Leadership and management

- Achieving desired results

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
