About Tiumed

Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN and a member of Medical Alley, Tiumed is developing a next-generation bipolar plasma platform to address the unmet needs of BPH surgery stakeholders by delivering higher efficiency and precision, effectiveness and patient satisfaction, at lower costs.

In the US alone, each year 400K men still rely on surgical treatment for their BPH (enlarged prostate), vs. pharmaceutical or office-based therapies, for adequate symptom relief. With no innovation in almost two decades, the results and costs of surgical technology currently used has left physicians and their patients dissatisfied, and impeded access to better treatment. Tiumed’s customer-focused approach aims to provide more efficient and effective procedures while utilizing existing skills and tools, leading to improved outcomes with lower costs and increased access to better healthcare.
