Medical Alley Association Statement on Gov. Walz’s Guidance
Regarding Non-Time Sensitive Medical Procedures

On behalf of the Medical Alley Association’s more than 600 members, we appreciate the Governor providing guidance for allowing non-time sensitive surgical procedures to resume. Each hospital, ambulatory surgical center, and clinic will be able to design a plan that protects the health and safety of patients and healthcare workers, while taking into account the specific needs and requirements of their facility and surrounding community. We are grateful to Governor Walz for his leadership, and look forward to continuing to work with him, his administration, and the legislature in continuing the process of safely reopening Minnesota.
