Leadership Plus Performance Puts IPM Among SPI Research Best-Of-The-Best

February 24

Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) has been named among the 2020 Best-of-the-Best professional services organizations by Service Performance Insight (SPI Research), an independent technology services research firm.

SPI’s annual PS Maturity Benchmark survey uncovers the Top 25 organizations based on five dimensions: leadership, client relationships, human capital alignment, service execution, and finance and operations. This year, the study found that these leading firms increased their workforce by an average of 14.4 percent, vs. the 8.7 percent of all 513 companies participating in the study. Likewise, the top companies’ revenue rose by 19.3 percent, vs. 10.2 percent. That is likely because the revenue per project for the Best-of-the-Best companies is about two-and-a-half times that of the average consulting firm.

The PS Maturity Benchmark measures professional service firms on bottom line results as well as several leadership metrics, which SPI touts as significant as it reveals exceptional holistic performance.

“Our operating model relies on the relationships we have with our clients and our consultants, and they ultimately drive financial performance,” says IPM Chief Financial Officer Timothy J. Czech. “It’s meaningful to us that, with this award, SPI recognizes not only the sales and revenue metrics but also the human and quality aspects of running a successful organization.”

This is the fourth time IPM has received Best-of-the-Best recognition from SPI, which developed the PS Maturity Model in 2007 to serve as planning and management framework and performance improvement tool.
