Medical Alley Association Statement on Announcement of FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb’s Resignation

GOLDEN VALLEY, MN – The Medical Alley Association issued the following statement on the resignation of FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb:

“The Medical Alley Association, on behalf of our 600 members that represent every sector of healthcare, thanks Dr. Scott Gottlieb for his public service as commissioner of the FDA and wishes him the best on his return to private life. During his tenure as FDA commissioner, Dr. Gottlieb brought energy and expertise to promoting new opportunities for advancing innovation and improving health outcomes.

Dr. Gottlieb laid out an ambitious framework for the FDA and worked diligently to improve the agency. As the Medical Alley Association continues to work with FDA on behalf of our members and the patients they serve around the world, we look forward to working with the next commissioner and are appreciative of all FDA employees who continue the important work of advancing healthcare in the United States.”
